Celebrating 30+ Years of Creativity: The Art to Remember Story

Children are natural artists. And at Art to Remember, we love to celebrate their talents. Not only that, we’re also giving teachers and families ways to preserve those moments of self-expression and make sure a child’s creations can find a place in the world beyond just a spot on the fridge. We develop keepsakes that can last a lifetime!

For more than 30 years, we’ve honed our process for giving art educators the resources they need to raise funds for their classrooms, all while providing unique, high-quality mementos for families to treasure and share. What started as a one-person vision has grown into a dedicated team of 45 year-round employees—and a program that has touched thousands of schools and families across the country.

How a Small Start Became a Lasting Tradition

Art to Remember was built on a genuine appreciation for children’s creativity. In the early days, this wasn’t a large operation, so our focus has always been powered by passion. We truly believe in the value of art education and the memories it creates, and we’re so happy to be a trusted resource for art educators and parents.

Even as our company has grown, our close-knit, people-first approach has never gone away. Some team members have been part of the journey for decades, and we think that kind of longevity says a lot. It’s not just about staying loyal to a job. It’s also about the client relationships we’ve built along the way. Schools return year after year because they know they’re working with a team that cares. Plus, we know what it takes to run a successful fundraiser! We always do our best to help teachers get the biggest impact.

Growing with Schools and Expanding Our Impact

As more educators and families have discovered the program, Art to Remember has grown into a nationwide effort supporting hundreds of schools each year. Along the way, our fundraiser program continues to evolve. We’re proud to incorporate new tools, like our online art galleries, as well as more product options. Every step of the process—from launching the program and teaching the lesson, to shipping out the artwork and having parents order online—is designed to be simple for teachers and families alike.

A major milestone in our company’s growth came when SilverGraphics was added to the Art to Remember family. Like us, SilverGraphics was built on a deep appreciation for children’s artwork and the joy it brings to families. Bringing their relationships into the fold with our team has allowed us to build on our shared mission—reaching even more communities to help art programs thrive.

Built on Relationships and Backed by Experience

Art to Remember has always been committed to serving people with an attention to detail and compassion. This is more than a business. It’s a mission. We’re here to support hard-working art teachers at every stage of their career, by giving them an easy solution to fund new supplies without dipping into their own pocket. Along the way, we’re also championing the loving parents who want to have thoughtful gifts for loved ones. We provide them with meaningful and unique keepsakes, while still being budget-conscious. And, of course, we’re thrilled to help show students that their creativity has value beyond the classroom.

Over the years, we’ve learned that success isn’t just measured in dollars. We obviously want our partners to have reliable funding for their classroom, but even more so, our program is about creating lasting memories. A magnet can stay on the fridge for years and serve as a reminder for how far a child has come. Or there might be an ornament that gets unboxed every holiday season and always brings a smile. Your coffee mug can also be a reminder of your child’s creativity every morning. All of those little moments count, and we’re proud to be part of creating those memories.

Every aspect of our program is designed to be easy and straight-forward for everyone involved. From providing lesson plan ideas to handling the ordering process, and even building a virtual art show for your school online, our goal is to remove the stress for educators while giving families a great experience.

Looking Ahead—While Staying True to Our Roots

After more than three decades, we’re happy to report that Art to Remember continues to grow—and that the heart of our company hasn’t changed. We’re still focused on supporting schools, celebrating student creativity, and helping families turn artwork into lasting memories.

As we look to the future, we’re excited to keep building on that foundation. Our team is always ready to welcome new schools into our Art to Remember family, and we can help strengthen existing partnerships with new art lesson ideas and fundraising resources to market your program. If you need ideas for an upcoming program—or you’re a parent who wants to introduce us to your school—please don’t hesitate to reach out! We make it easy to get started.
